Meet The Members- America

Howdy!

My name is America, pronounced just like the country. I am a nonbinary Black woman and my pronouns are They/Them. I got my start in coffee back in 2016 at a local chain of shops- you may have seen me behind the bar or in the drive-thru! I like anime, reading, the sound of my own (singing) voice, and getting just interested enough in certain things to pique someone else’s interest- but never enough to become an expert. At my first employee review, my manager described me as “loquacious”- I had to look it up, and back then I took it as a fancy way to say I talk too much, and was a little bit offended. Now 6 years later, I’m using the descriptor with pride. My loquacious nature has made me privy to MANY secrets; I’m always down to chat about a plethora of topics and I’m so excited to meet you, welcome you and hear yours.
